Produced as a homologation-inspired, track-focused evolution of the standard M4, the GTS represents the most extreme road-going expression of BMW M engineering from its era. Power comes from a highly developed version of BMW’s S55 3.0-litre twin-turbocharged inline-six, enhanced with innovative water injection technology. Producing 368 kW (493 hp) and 600 Nm of torque, the M4 GTS accelerates from 0–100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds via a 7-speed M DCT transmission, delivering performance that remains deeply impressive by any standard.
