During a time when the two automotive giants of both Germany and the US merged as DaimlerChrysler and manufactured by Karmann, responsible for the Volkswagen Karmann Ghia, a quintessentially millennial era two-seater sports car was born. The Chrysler Crossfire.
Offered on the R170 Mercedes Benz platform the Crossfire shares 80% of its components with the Mercedes Benz SLK, including drivetrain, chassis, interior components, and electrics. Interior and exterior styling was the only thing that really differed.
The SLK platform was only good news as here we have a German two-seater sports roadster, with a torquey and smooth V6 3.0 Liter powering its rear wheels. Most importantly to note, whilst the SLK was strictly offered only in Australia with an automatic transmission, the Crossfire could be optioned with a 6-speed manual transmission.
Available here is a 2004 Chrysler Crossfire Roadster presented in its original stunning Canary Yellow paintwork over a light Biege and aluminium interior with just 32,259 kilometres from new, making it one of the lowest mileage examples around.
Complete with two keys, original manuals and a service booklet documenting an excellent service history with its most recent completed by local Mercedes Benz specialist in October 2025 which included a service and new tires.
