1969 Ferrari 365 GTC

The Ferrari 365 GTC is for the connoisseurs. If you know you know, these 60's Italian stallions are one of the most usable, enjoyable and exciting V12 Ferrari's of its period.

They have been long appreciated for their elegant Sixities Italian Gran-Turismo styling, beautifully appointed cabins and race-bred mechanicals. 

Built on a tubular chassis with fully independent suspension, disc brakes all round and a fantastic gated 5-speed transmission. Under the bonnet is a 4.4 litre SOHC Tipo 245C V12 with 40DFI/2 Carburettors with 320 bhp on tap and a symphony of noise only a V12 Ferrari could produce which makes this car one of the greatest hits of Maranello.

Available here we have a 1969 Ferrari 365 GTC which is 1 of just 27 RHD ever produced as total worldwide production for both LHD/RHD markets was just 150 units.

Originally delivered to the United Kingdom and ordered in Blu Ribot N372 with VM846 Vaumol Tan 846 Luxan Colour leather trim. 

Based on the Marcel Massini report done in 2024. Its chassis was sent to Carrozzeria Pininfarina in Torino in January 1969 and was completed in March where it was delivered to Colonel Ronnie Hoare's British Ferrari Importership Maranello Concessionaires, Surrey England. Used by Shaun P.Bealey, a director of Maranello Concessionaires it was then sold to Eric Michael Stewart, found member of the "10CC" pop group in 1971. 

Exchanging hands to a William Kenneth Hancock in 1974 in Hexham, Northumberland, England it was exported in the USA in 1979 to a Mike Coffman, a U.S. Army officer station in Fort Gordan, GA.

By 1989 it was then exported to our shores here in Australia to a well-regarded Ferrari specialist and restorer David Levy. David restored it and changed its colour to Bourgeois Green Metallic and proceeded to own the vehicle for the next 16 years. 

Passing through two owners it found its way to a Melbourne based collector, he proceeded to mechanically refurbish the car with Ferrari specialist John Allan in 2016 over a few years with a total of documented $240,000.00 spent.

In 2022 it was then sold back to a previous owner and has remained in his ownership since.

Still retaining its original motor, gearbox and accompanied with a wealth of documentation and history between Maranello archivists, previous sales and documentation around the mechanical refurbishment, this Ferrari has outstanding provenance that would satisfy any discerning collector.
